Land Restoration:
Seedballs, Trees, and Circles of Love
Warrior Heart Ranch, New Mexico
Post-widlfire we are continuing stewardship and restoration. Our 2026 goal is to continue planting wildflowers and medicinal plants via seebals, create two more circular sanctuaries in the worst of the burn area, and plant ten more fruit trees.
Last year we built two circular sanctuaries where we are heavily planting trees and wildflowers that are protected from the deer, and this winter we built on and stabilized our rain water collection system for each area. We are excited to continue the restoration project this summer!

New Healing Temple
Warrior Heart Ranch
Mary had a vision for our healing temple space many years ago. Three summers ago we picked the spot, which is down by the creek, and we have been doing ceremony and prayers there ever since. Last year Mark agreed to set aside time to design and build our temple in July and August 2026. The vision is glorious: a timber frame hexagon with lumber from the land. He estimates the cost is $10,000, and we are adding in $3000 as a buffer for unexpected expenses.
This will be a space for quiet prayer and contemplation, and also a center for a healing arts school that can serve both training practicioners and those in need of healing and support.

Community Care
Aid and care for those in the most need
We are dedicated to supporting marginalized communities in our local area and beyond. This is an excellent place for those of us who have privilege / resources to overflow some of our abundance to those who would not have access to resources so they can organize and empower their communities. We support black, brown, indigenous, and transgender organizers and change agents.
