Ash & Rose Spiritual Collective

Welcome, dear one

We are the ceremonial & teaching branch of the Center for Creative Intent, a heart-centered, inclusive interfaith community. CCI was founded in 2001 by HeatherAsh Amara. Our name — Ash & Rose Spiritual Collective — honors transformative, phoenixing change (ash) and the blossom of personal faith and healing (rose).

Mary Nicosia brings her heart and wisdom as Ash & Rose’s spiritual director and healing magician. HeatherAsh brings her fiery catalyst spark as head minister and fairy godmama.

What we offer:

  • Creative classes and gatherings for healing, transitions, and spiritual deepening

  • Ceremonies to remember and reweave the sacred web between ancestors, humans, the divine in all its manifestations

  • Compassionate skill building for clear communication, honest reconciliation and loving repair

  • Non-denominational, community and individual spiritual and pastoral coaching

Since ancient times roses have been a treasured symbol of healing and wisdom. Roses in many traditions are honored as an important form of medicine and spiritual guide. They can lead us back to our hearts to heal the places we wall off and guard because of past heartbreak. Working with roses and learning new ways to heal can nourish us. It can help us to trust ourselves and life again when it may feel difficult to know what to trust.

These classes are led by Mary Nicosia. Mary is an herbalist and practitioner of East Asian Medicine. She has studied with Jillian Stansbury, Will Morris and many other plant wisdom teachers and frequently prescribes roses to her clients in her private practice. She has personally been inspired, healed, and spiritually guided by roses for many years and cherishes teaching this ancient wisdom.

Prayer Beads: an 11-day mini meditation / mindfulness series

Daily recordings now available

This 11-day mini meditation / mindfulness series with HeatherAsh brings together a simple, non-denominational prayer (the Inner Fire Prayer) with tiny teachings on the latest neuroscience. You’ll learn how your attention actually works, how simple mindfulness / meditation practice will help you recapture your focus, resilience, and energy, and how to use prayer to soothe your nervous system.

After a 30-minute introduction we start our meditation /mindfulness sessions at 5 minutes, gradually building up to 11 minutes on Day 11 (for advanced practitioners can add extra time to each session to create your stretch!)

Feel free to bring prayer beads (mala, rosary) though they are not necessary; all you really need is your presence.

Ash & Rose Spiritual Collective is for you if…

Our 2026 Theme: Redefining Power

Let’s question old definitions and vision new possibilities of spirituality, together.
What is faith and agency?
How do we love in fearful times?
How do we weave community together in times of disintegration?
When we feel powerless, how do we hold true power with softness and strength?

  • You are looking for an accepting, playful, unconditional, diverse place to discover your connection to the divine

  • You want to bring more of the sacred into your everyday life, in a way that feels embodied and authentic

  • You’ve been turned off by, hurt or harmed by religious organizations, spiritual communities, or cults in any form

  • If spiritual bypass, all-light new age talk doesn’t feel honest to you

  • You yearn for ceremony and connection that is not dogmatic, culturally appropriated, or sticky sweet

  • You are seeking a non-hierarchical, community-centered, unconditional place that honors all the cycles of life (including the mystery, darkness, death) as sacred and potent portals of connection to the divine in all forms

  • You are marginalized in any way: trans, queer, nonbinary, undefined, wild, disabled, black, brown, indigenous, a beautiful mix, changeable, female

  • You are a cis-white male who is ready and willing to confront and transmute your relationship to power, privilege, and the patriarchy

  • You are young and courageous or older and fearful, young and fearful or older and courageous, have kids, don’t have kids, have a current spiritual path or no clue what you believe in, are an atheist, are in recovery, don’t feel trusting, are ready for something new and hopeful
